The Asia Pacific (APAC) Field Marketing Manager role, reporting to the Vice President, Global Demand, will lead the execution of our Asia Pacific regional demand generation plan in support of Protegrity's global growth strategy. This is a challenging role requiring a high degree of independence given the majority of Protegrity team support is located outside of the region in the Americas and Europe. Protegrity is a global cybersecurity software company with expansion ambitions in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and major ASEAN countries. This leader will work directly with a global team of experienced Marketers, and align closely with the APAC Field Sales team, to drive brand awareness, demand generation and pipeline generation across the regions. The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Marketing team and the APAC Field Sales team. The position is remote, but location preference is Sydney, followed by Melbourne, or Singapore.

  • Own and drive the APAC Demand strategy and plan as a key component of the Global Demand strategy, aligned and in partnership with APAC Field Sales, Marketing & Growth Strategies team
  • Build regional awareness and generate pipeline growth within target markets through 1:Few and 1:1 ABM campaigns that are aligned with regional goals and objectives
  • Lead demand generation strategies and tactics to maximize pipeline in APAC markets
  • Achieve clearly defined objectives and KPIs
  • Advocate for and support the Field Sales organization in APAC and provide Marketing solutions to build pipeline and close new business.
  • Facilitate engagement with Field Sales teams and specifically Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Account Executives (AEs) across the region by acting as the conduit between Marketing and Sales – bringing Marketing initiatives to Sales and communicating Salesʼ needs back to the Marketing & Growth Strategies team
  • Build a strong understanding of data protection market and customer needs across the APAC region and provide enablement for our Field Sales team
  • Work with product Marketing to ensure Field Sales
  • Partner with Branding & Communications, Content Strategy, Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, and Partner Marketing to ensure that Marketing campaigns deliver optimal results in order to help meet APAC revenue targets
  • Monitor the success of regional Marketing campaigns through metrics and reporting to ensure that key performance indicators are met, and campaigns demonstrate a positive return on investment.

  • 10+ years experience in a B2B Marketing Manager role (preferably software) selling into Enterprise customers in the ANZ and ASEAN markets. Experience selling into the global Financial Services industry strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success driving pipeline in a high-growth global B2B software company
  • Proven ability to drive pipeline growth working hand-in-hand with Field Sales teams driving regional Marketing campaigns across a full range of channels, including email, paid search, industry and executive events, roundtables, and PR/AR.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in leading and managing integrated campaigns, including account-based Marketing, while collaborating with and communicating across global Marketing, sales, professional services, alliances and leadership team members
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Clear and persuasive communications skills to leverage in the process of building, executing and reporting campaign activities
  • Knowledge of Martech and CRM platforms. Marketo and Salesforce experience highly preferred. Marketo certification highly preferred.
  • Extremely proactive, with excellent follow-through and eagerness to learn.

Working Model:
  • This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend on-site meetings in Region, as well as other global locations occasionally based on business needs. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
