And, our founding team are seasoned industry veterans with successful track records as entrepreneurs and in leadership roles at well-known tech, CPG, and disruptor brands.

About the Role

The Head of Marketing is responsible for leading, developing and implementing all marketing initiatives for the organization. This individual will lead the marketing team and will be responsible for driving consumer revenue growth, as well as developing and executing strategic marketing plans that effectively communicate the organization’s value proposition. 

The Head of Marketing has a unique opportunity to build and accelerate concept brands for future licensing and even divestiture. Part Growth and part Venture Capitalist, this position will deliver value to Hologram through launching  a portfolio of consumer brands that achieve key product market fit criteria. Elevate your strategic impact by thinking beyond direct performance (which is still critical) to creating long-term value for Hologram. Leverage a diverse set of playbooks by building brands from scratch, reinvent existing partner brands or partner to market on co-development opportunities.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to launch and accelerate brands direct-to-consumer, driving exponential revenue growth in first 18 months
  • Launch completely new brands representing our “3D” concepts direct-to-consumer ~1 per year, including brand creation, packaging design, GTM, and channel/audience experimentation
  • Manage brand-level P&L and work closely with senior management to tie financial forecast into company-level P&L
  • Monitor, analyze and report on marketing performance, and recommend changes to optimize results across brands and channels
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Build, develop, manage and lead a high-performing DTC marketing and growth team, making smart recommendations for in-house talent vs outsourced agency dependency 
  • Support the companies B2B marketing efforts for strategic partnerships and opportunities with brand pitch decks, sharp analyses, and compelling face to face pitches
  • Develop, manage and control the marketing budget
  • Monitor and analyze consumer trends to identify new opportunities for growth
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and actively seek out new opportunities 

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing; 6+ years previous experience in a direct-to-consumer revenue growth role 
  • Experience with P&L, consumer revenue and growth managing $1M to $10M budgets
  • Experience with both DTC and corporate B2B marketing playbooks
  • Proven track record of successfully driving exponential revenue growth
  • Experience driving content for and presentations to Board of Directors is preferred
  • Early-stage startup experience
