You. Our Next VP of Marketing.

You’re ready for your next big thing. You’re an experienced, advertising agency leader with a track record of building highly integrated and efficient full-funnel digital marketing practices. You have a knack for aligning the marketing function with an organization’s strategic business goals in a way that resonates with c-suite executives and propels the organization forward. You show company executives how to solve strategic business challenges, chart the path, and rally the team to execute. With that, you’ve played a critical role in meaningful growth journeys– shaping the marketing function to support organizational scale from 50 team members to 200+ and beyond. 

As the VP of Marketing, you’ll apply deep subject matter expertise (marketing automation, analytics, paid digital media) to grow our capabilities beyond client and business objectives. Your intimate knowledge in what’s required for a user-centered, full-funnel marketing strategy will be instrumental as you help shape the practice to drive innovative marketing solutions for our current and future client portfolio. From developing your people to launching new offerings and driving client success, you love pulling them all together to deliver transformative impact to the agency.

In addition to bringing your expertise in customer acquisition marketing strategies and tactics, we hope you’ll also bring your curiosity and desire to grow in your craft!

What You’ll Do.

  • Craft an industry-leading lifecycle marketing practice that integrates marketing automation, paid media, organic media, and more– delivering best-in-class full-funnel solutions across current and future clients.

  • Architect user-centered marketing strategies for both eCity and our clients, leveraging your intimate knowledge of the building blocks required to propel our practice forward. 

  • Manage P&L for eCity’s marketing practice, having direct responsibility for the profitability and losses that funnel into marketing.

  • Lead our paid media, marketing automation, and organic marketing practices– overseeing and developing our team of marketing practitioners.

  • Work cross-collaboratively with agency teams (client services, content, creative, web, etc) to drive high-level strategy and successful execution on marketing initiatives that achieve our clients' business objectives.

  • Drive new business development for marketing, acquiring enterprise-level leads, and having a direct impact on new business closed in 2023 and beyond.

  • Manage resourcing for the marketing practice, partnering with operations and talent acquisition to ensure staffing meets the demand of current and future business needs.

  • Assign and manage projects between internal resources and external vendors, managing and growing our freelance talent pools to support flexible staffing solutions.

  • Work directly with eCity Interactive’s executive team and client c-suite, balancing a strong executive presence with humility and collaborative partnership.

Why You’re Great.

  • 12+ years full-funnel digital marketing experience, with the ability to build a marketing practice that drives complex, user-center strategy across a breadth of digital tactics.

  • You bring P&L experience of a digital marketing practice at least $1M in revenue.

  • Strong servant leadership, with a passion for investing and developing others. Leads with humility, ownership, transparency, and team empowerment.

  • Deep lifecycle marketing expertise with hands-on experience in marketing automation, paid media, organic search/social, and more. You can both lead/coach a team and roll up your sleeves to support execution.

  • Strong technical shops across leading digital marketing platforms: marketing automation (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.), paid media (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, etc.), organic social (Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, etc.), and more.

💰Base Salary: $150,000 - $180,000+ (commensurate with experience)
