Principal, Product Marketing

The Principal, Product Marketing leads product marketing strategy and go-to-market launch mechanisms for the Creator Tools domain. The role reports into our Head of Product Marketing.

The Impact you will make

• Product Positioning and Messaging: Define and communicate compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target customers and differentiates our products in the marketplace.
• Go-to-Market Planning: Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches, including target customer segments, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns.
• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to understand the market landscape, identify opportunities and trends, and mitigate potential threats.
• Customer Insights: Use customer feedback and market research to gain insights into customer needs in order to inform go-to-market strategies and the product roadmap.
• Product Launches: Manage and coordinate product launches, ensuring successful execution and maximum impact in the market.
• Launch Mechanisms: Maintain and optimize consistent launch mechanisms and templates that make successful launches easier to replicate

Attributes for Success

• 10+ years Product Marketing experience in a creator economy, tech, and/or SaaS environment.
• Passion for Kajabi’s mission
• Professional copywriting experience
• Experience working with an empowered product team that continuously discovers new product opportunities
• Self-Starter - ability to execute and implement change
• Critical Thinking – strategic and highly analytical
• Leadership – easily move others to action by planning, motivating, organizing and controlling work being done
• Goal Oriented – naturally motivated to reach goals
• Interpersonal/Communication Skills – an innate ability to channel different points of view; Able to establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility quickly; Create team atmosphere with internal staff while achieving key objectives; Excellent consulting skills as well as technical writing and public speaking
• Professional – provide a good balance of risk taking and judgment; Is aggressive and confident; Able to operate independently of a large staff
