The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Content Marketing Lead to join Multiplier. The Content Marketing Lead will be responsible for developing and executing our content marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, engage our target audience, and support lead generation efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of content marketing best practices, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to create compelling and educational content across various formats and channels.

The Content Marketing Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product, to ensure the effective implementation of content marketing initiatives that align with business goals.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with Multiplier's brand voice, target audience, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify content marketing goals, target audience personas, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring success.
  • Create high-quality, engaging, and educational content across various formats, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, infographics, social media posts, and email newsletters.
  • Conduct in-depth research to understand industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscape, and use these insights to inform content ideation and creation.
  • Manage the content editorial calendar, ensuring a consistent publishing schedule and alignment with marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to increase organic visibility and drive traffic to our website.
  • Collaborate with design and multimedia teams to create visually appealing and shareable content assets.
  • Promote content through various channels, including social media, email marketing, guest blogging, influencer outreach, and content syndication.
  • Measure and analyze content performance, using data-driven insights to optimize content strategy, improve engagement, and maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to gather input, validate content accuracy, and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative approaches into content strategy.
  • Track and report on content marketing metrics, providing regular updates to key stakeholders and leadership, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and actionable recommendations.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Content Marketing Lead, Content Strategist, or similar role, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive content tailored to different target audiences.
  • Experience creating content across various formats and channels, such as blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, infographics, social media, and email newsletters.
  • Proficiency in SEO and keyword research tools to optimize content for search engines.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to measure and analyze content performance, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate innovative content ideas and approaches.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple content initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends, digital marketing, and content marketing innovations.
