The Demand Generation Specialist for Wowza is a strategically important role on the Marketing team. This is a key role where you’ll develop and execute differentiated messaging programs build awareness for Wowza and to educate prospect customers about the unique benefits of Wowza’s video streaming platform.

Your efforts will create new opportunities for the business. You’ll have a marketing budget, and you’ll work to invest that budget across many available marketing channels, including paid search, display, social advertising and other paid media. You’ll collaborate with other teams to plan, build and manage large-scale campaigns aimed at specific target markets. You’re ideal if you are adept with B2B tech marketing, a student of emerging tactics that drive outcomes and if you enjoy using your analytical and creative skills to drive demand.

What You’ll Do

  • Create ongoing demand-gen campaigns to energize new and existing customers
  • Collaborate with Marketing leadership and the Marketing team to plan high-performing advertising and customer acquisition strategies
  • Pursue a product revenue growth target and achieve monthly and quarterly MQL, meeting, conversion and pipeline creation targets
  • Take control of your budget and work investment campaigns across multiple channels, including email, paid social, Google ads, display ads and online audiences
  • Boost lead qualification outcomes through continuous improvement and a demand-gen strategy tailored to segments and personas
  • Run A/B tests, experiments and frequent business audits to achieve continuous improvement of demand gen programs
  • Create effective, conversion-oriented ad copy and retargeting initiatives, and monitor web analytics and to optimize campaigns and hit company targets
  • Continuously test new channels to push the envelope and find new sources of leads
  • Achieve a lower cost per acquisition over time and assist the business with reporting on target vs. actual spend for MQLs and conversions
  • Apply a combination of inbound lead acquisition and outbound account-based marketing to achieve business objectives
  • Collaborate with our BizOps team to develop outcomes-based reporting and prepare campaign summary reports with qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Effectively leverage the HubSpot platform to execute lead nurturing campaigns, prospect intelligence, lead scoring, digital content strategy and more
  • Optimize landing pages to drive results
  • Apply learnings from available customer research and business analytics to identify customer segments and implement a personalization strategy
  • Learn the product and review all messaging with the marketing and product teams to ensure campaigns are differentiated and achieve product-market fit

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, technical field, or equivalent work experience. MBA is a plus
  • Self-starter who is comfortable being accountable for growing product-line revenue
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinker who can uncover valuable business insights
  • Results-driven, with experience developing and executing demand-generation and pipeline-creation marketing campaigns for B2B companies.
  • Creative storyteller who can engage audiences and generate measurable outcomes; must demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience and confidence writing effective ad copy; able to show writing samples
  • Can understand and apply the principles of Account Based Marketing
  • Attention to detail and executional follow through within a fast-paced environment
  • Precise organizational skills with ability to project manage multiple goals at once
  • Organized, methodical operator with proven skills running A/B testing programs
  • Engaged team player and collaborator with strong inter-personal skills

Benefits

Salary: $110,000-$135,000

  • Bonus Eligible

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of our salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on a range of factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of our total compensation package for employees.
