The Role:
As a Senior Content Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing the content strategy to enhance our brand presence, engage our target audience, and drive lead generation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and sales to ensure the successful planning, creation, and distribution of high-quality content across various channels. 

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, an exceptional storyteller, and possesses a deep understanding of the global employment (desired) and SaaS industry (essential).

Duties And Responsibilities

Content Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify content opportunities, target audience preferences, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create a content calendar that ensures timely delivery of engaging and relevant content.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Write, edit, and proofread compelling content for various channels, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, eBooks, website copy, social media posts, and email campaigns.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with the brand voice, style guidelines, and SEO best practices.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts and external contributors to gather insights and create thought leadership content.

Lead Generation and Conversion:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive lead generation and nurture campaigns through content initiatives.
  • Optimize content for conversion by incorporating compelling calls-to-action, landing page optimization, and lead capture techniques.
  • Collaborate with demand generation and sales teams to align content marketing efforts with lead generation goals.

Content Distribution and Promotion:

  • Identify and leverage appropriate distribution channels, including social media, industry publications, influencers, and partner networks, to maximize content reach and engagement.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Explore new content formats and distribution channels to expand the company's reach and stay ahead of industry trends.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, design, and sales, to gather insights, align strategies, and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the content marketing team, fostering their professional growth and development.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a content marketing manager or similar role within the SaaS industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong editing abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful content marketing strategies.
  • Solid understanding of brand, demand gen and SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret content performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with SaaS industry trends and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest marketing technologies and best practices.
