Senior Content Marketing Manager
Wander is a growing, fast-paced startup, hiring a full-time Senior Content Marketing Manager to lead and own our content strategy, build community across our social platforms, and create thumb-stopping videos and creative that get deployed across our paid, owned and earned channels to drive low-cost, sustainable growth for the business.
We’re looking for a content generalist to produce content that tells a powerful story about our brand and product. The ideal candidate for this role is hard working self-starter who values autonomy and embraces the ambiguity of trying many different things – whether it’s collaborating with a YouTuber on a video, scaling our blog and SEO strategy or coming up with creative ways to engage our community on social. A special thing about Wander is our homes, locations, and guests are a never-ending source of content.
This role requires creativity, grit, and an ability to lead small cross-functional initiatives with marketing, design and product. If you have 4+ years of experience in content marketing and are interested in exploring this role, please apply on our career page.
Requirements:
4+ years of content marketing experience, ideally in a startup or fast paced environment
Expertise in at least one of these areas and ability to execute all:
Social media and community management (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok)
Video production and development for different channels
Collaborations with influencers and content creators
SEO optimization strategy and blog post production
Producing creative for paid and organic social
Strong creative skills and desire to build a lasting and iconic brand at Wander
Customer curiosity and empathy with strong instincts on what resonates with audiences; creativity developing insights that generate engagement
Understanding of how to map content’s impact to business outcomes
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver on KPIs
Solid communication skills and an ownership mentality
Strong organizational skills and passion for having multiple balls in the air
Tasks:
As Wander’s Senior Content Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
Leading and managing cross-functional content marketing initiatives to hit growth goals
Producing content deployed through every channel to activate potential and existing customers at every stage of the funnel from awareness to engagement to retention
Leading and owning our original content efforts on YouTube with our in-house videographer and editor
Owning our content creator partnership program from start to finish (primarily YouTube)
Owning our SEO and blog development strategy to drive high-intent organic traffic
Managing our social channels to build community with our most engaged supporters
Supporting multi-channel marketing campaigns with content designed to drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention in every stage of the funnel
Driving the development of hard-hitting, thumb-stopping creative across our marketing channels with support from marketing design and copywriting
Developing a deep understanding of our target audience and customer
