Jan is a productivity company. We build a desktop app that runs AI on your own laptop, 100% offline and privately. We support most popular AI models, and are actively working on a roadmap to allow users to customize and fine-tune these AIs to meet their specific needs.

We are a fully remote, open source company. We target the global market, but operate as a lean, bootstrapped company.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Outreach & Development: Build key relationships with customers and hubs for go-to-market, and work with Product to incorporate customer insights into Product Roadmap
  • Sales Playbook: Create a repeatable sales process, with robust sales assets and playbooks, with comprehensive support from sales to onboarding and customer success.
  • Building Distribution: Develop distribution channels through partnerships (e.g. system integrators, resellers) that enable us to scale reach
  • Pricing & Monetization: Work with team to own Jan’s revenue goals, by developing business models and revenue streams from our products.
  • Product Positioning: Work with team to articulate product in a competitive and crowded market, with product launch campaigns that resonate with target audiences and lead to sales efforts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading Business Development, Marketing or Sales
  • Passion for AI and productivity tools
  • Excellent communication, relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Plus: Experience in Enterprise Tech sales
  • Plus: 0-to-1 experience for Business Development
  • Plus: 0-to-1 experience for Go-to-Market
