University Relations Intern

About the role:

We are hiring an intern for our University Partnerships team.
University Partnerships at Leap is a US-based team that builds and maintains relationships with institutions of higher education around the world for two primary purposes:
- Identifying opportunities to utilise universities as a marketing channel for our direct to student business
- Establishing and growing direct university partnerships through the development and support of educational programs serving our student population

The Charter for this role would include-

• Research partner institutions to identify universities that fit particular profiles for target student populations

• With input from the team, create resources on best practices and strategies for universities to maximise their international student recruitment efforts

• Maintenance and updating of our team CRM

• Given parameters provided by the team, identify new university targets for partnership

• Research industry insights, data, and trends to support the team in the creation of blog content and social media posts

• Creation of process documentation, with the opportunity to recommend potential areas of improvement

Ideal Persona:

• World-class attention to detail - you are the person people come to for a final review and edits before publishing something live

• Strong critical thinking capabilities - while we will do our best to give you clear guidance and instruction, the nature of our work requires adaptability and initiative

• High levels of cross-cultural awareness and communication styles - our team serves as a bridge between our co workers and students in India to the universities in our destination countries. The successful candidate will be able to simultaneously collaborate with both American and Indian colleagues and create work assets that can speak to both/either population

• Creative visualisation skills to aid in the development of promotional assets and social media content are a big plus
