BackerKit enables thousands of creators worldwide to focus on doing what they love.

Our software is the premier platform for crowdfunding backer management, empowering project creators to manage their creative endeavors with confidence. We have also just launched our new crowdfunding platform, and are excited to build the future of crowdfunding with our community!

We're a profitable, self-funded start-up with a diverse, close-knit team that prizes creativity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.

We're hiring a Community Coordinator (Marketing Coordinator) to join our Community team! What is a Community team, you ask? Traditionally, companies would call this a Marketing team, but we feel that Community is a more appropriate title in how we approach our work. Our team is extremely passionate about setting creators up for success by really digging into challenges creators are having, learning from the experiences of successful crowdfunding creators before them, and spreading that knowledge to more creators.

While our office is in San Francisco, this position is remote friendly to anyone in the US.

If you're interested in working with a great team and amazing customers to constantly improve the way creators interact with their fans, we'd love to chat about how you can help us build, scale, and improve our market-leading platform.

We are looking for a talented individual to join our small, but mighty Community team. The ideal candidate is excited by having the opportunity to make an imprint on our team by improving on our current efforts, and at the same time scouting out and carving out new opportunities.

The founders are a developer/designer duo who met while working on Diaspora, the first highly successful crowdfunded open source software project. Our commitment to helping creative people be creative starts with them and drives us every day.
