THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite is a global self-service ticketing platform for live experiences that allows anyone to create, share, find and attend events that fuel their passions and enrich their lives.  Our mission is to bring the world together through live experiences. In this role, you will have the opportunity to bring product strategy, vision and creative execution to build a new product line for Eventbrite.  You will be a member of an early-stage, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced team focused on problems at the core of Eventbrite’s long-term strategy. 


THE TEAM

You’ll be joining a global team of experienced and talented Product Managers, Engineers and Designers who are focused on building a product that empowers and enables customers to participate in great live experiences. We are passionate about live events, motivated, collaborative, and a fun-loving team responsible for a high-growth, global business.


THE ROLE

In this role, you will enable building and scaling new ad products at Eventbrite. You will work highly cross functionally with stellar designers, engineers and multiple PMs that interact with our creators and the consumer marketplace. Your success in this endeavor will be directly responsible for a highly-visible new portion of Eventbrite’s business and a key part of our strategy.

YOU WILL
  • Work closely with customers and cross-functional partners to develop smart and creative solutions to the challenges our customers face
  • Use your analytical abilities and rigorous thinking to prioritize potential features and tenaciously drive those projects forward
  • Be creative and scrappy in the experiments you choose to run to determine how to scale the product and hit your goals
  • Anticipate and proactively manage risks to enable team velocity
  • Prioritize and make trade-off decisions balancing customer experience and business value
  • Communicate your findings, results and recommendations across the product org and various levels of management


THE SKILL SET
  • 3-5 years of product management experience
  • Great communication skills
  • Experience with marketplaces, ad products and/or marketing software at scale
  • Self-starter with proven track record of execution and results
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate, influence and work as part of a team
  • Strategic thinker and an analytical problem solver
  • User-first mindset with experience in user research and testing
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
