"Performance Marketing is pretty dang cool"

  • A totally unbiased person from the Performance Marketing team

But as cool as it is, there's a lot of things that have to happen alongside the day-to-day of channel-specific media buying, the spreadsheets, the bid changes, and the many other things that I won't include here because this isn't a job description for those jobs.

This is for something just a little different. (Like Pleo. Get it? Too obvious?)

Pleo has built one of Europe's best-in-class performance marketing teams, and we're looking for a Performance Marketing Campaign Manager to be the bread to the rest of the growth team's butter. You'll play a key role in designing, leading and executing on cross-collaborative paid acquisition and demand gen campaigns.

This is one of those "a little of column A, a little of column B" jobs. On one side, you'll be working closely with performance marketing channel specialists, directly managing paid demand gen campaigns. On the other, you'll be working with a plethora of other teams across Pleo to deliver pipeline growth.

You'll be responsible for campaign creation and management across a bunch of countries, and work (very!) closely with our in-house team of world-class Creative Producers, Channel Specialists, CRO-ers and Data Analysts. You'll also work (maybe a little less closely) with a variety of other teams across Pleo like Field Marketing, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Business Development (and more)!

Sounds interesting? Then keep reading.

How you'll add value:

  • Play a vital part of our paid acquisition strategy by working cross-functionally with SDRs, Product and Field Marketing Managers, as well as other stakeholders across the company.

  • Work with Channel Specialists to drive pipeline and execute on channel-specific initiatives

  • Be the 'go-to' for the media buying side of demand gen

  • Constantly identify and test new targeting segments and optimization strategies that can move the needle.

  • Experiment with new opportunities for our paid acquisition and demand generation

  • Work with CRO-specialists to streamline UX through great post-click experiences.

  • Communicate results and performance to internal stakeholders throughout the company

You'll be successful in this role if you're:

  • Knowledgeable about performance marketing best practices and emerging trends.

  • Familiar with ABM (and want to learn even more)

  • Excited about generating leads that eventually lead to pipeline growth.

  • Comfortable with the basics of how CRMs (especially HubSpot) work

  • Ready to get cosy with Sales and Business Development teams to accelerate pipeline growth with a performance marketing perspective

  • Experienced with managing projects (and enjoy chasing the ball to get things done)

  • Amazing at managing and reporting to internal stakeholders in a wide variety of competencies

  • Able to read data and derive actionable insights for yourself and others.

  • A super strong collaborator who doesn't shy away from partnering with key stakeholders to deliver top-notch business results

  • Great at working independently and taking on tasks that you don't know the solution to immediately.

  • Always challenging the status-quo and keep asking questions.

  • Not a fan of expense reports

What our team offers:

  • A seat in a best-in-class European, B2B DR Performance Marketing team

  • Tons of opportunities for personal and professional development in a high velocity scale up.

  • Competitive salary.

Show me the benefits!

  • Your own Pleo card, so you can get the things you need to do great work

  • Lots of internal Learning Development opportunities - but if you see something external, the backing to pursue it

  • An energetic social side to work, from office events to book clubs on Slack

  • Regular company-wide Team Camps - the last one was in Croatia

  • And if you're working from a Pleo office, lunch is on us

We know everybody prioritises different benefits. So, we have a benefits package that lets you choose what best suits you. Ask us about what we offer, we'll be happy to outline more.

And here are some other nice things that we offer

  • 25 days of annual holidays, on top of the standardised festive and bank-related ones, of course.

  • Catered lunch in the office.

  • Loads of weird and wonderful niche communities to join in the company.

  • Wild enthusiasm and encouragement from us if you want to host MeetUps, events, etc - we'll help (venue, food etc).
