Sinch is organized into five business units: Applications, Enterprise & Messaging, Voice, Developer & Email, and SMB. This role will be under Applications.

The Applications team is responsible for delivering innovative solutions through conversational platforms and next-generation communication channels like WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Apple Business Chat, Line, Kakao Talk, and other telecommunications channels like SMS, MMS, and RCS.

The essence of the role.

Sinch is looking for a Strategic Account Director to join the Client Services Team. Strategic Account Directors function as a trusted client partner by developing a strong understanding of our clients' business objectives and by identifying opportunities to meet those objectives with a mix of technology and professional services. As part of the Client Services team, you will drive account expansion while remaining engaged in delivery to ensure our customers become fans. This role reports to the VP, Client Services.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and direct a set of accounts ensuring team health, quality of delivery, high client satisfaction, profitability, and financial growth.
  • Work closely with Account Managers and CSMs who will maintain their own direct client relationships.
  • Be measured by client satisfaction and account growth according to set targets.
  • Work across a variety of technologies – including those providing SMS, MMS, conversational messaging, digital advertising, email marketing, and other CRM solutions.
  • Practice strong habits around account planning, forecasting and business reviews. Organize and present information that has a strong narrative.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with your clients and proactively look to expand those relationships. Plan and strategize at a senior level. Able to uncover pain points and opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with others in the Client Services team including Strategists, Account Managers, Creatives, and Project Managers.

Requirements

  • 10+ year’s experience managing high-performing accounts and teams with demonstrated growth.
  • Experience with CRM, mobile marketing campaigns and/or working in context of mobile messaging channels.
  • Awareness of or experience with the process of creative development and production.
  • A strong communicator able to organize and present information in a compelling way. Effective team management skills.
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to achieve client satisfaction and account growth.
