Okteto provides a local development experience for cloud applications. In a world of ever-emerging technologies, the number of tools to manage cloud-native applications becomes more overwhelming every year. This vastly increases the cognitive load for developers, decreases their productivity and forces them to become experts in areas different from their own. With Okteto, you code locally in your favorite IDE and Okteto takes care of updating your application in your development environment to provide continuous feedback as you code. No commit, build, push, or deploy required.
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help us educate users on how to get the most out of Okteto and to improve our processes. You will be the first product marketing hire and will be responsible for GTM launch process, ensuring organizational readiness, supporting sales enablement efforts, and managing projects for key deliverables.
Create a repeatable process for a product launch that includes all go-to-market and organizational readiness activities and deliverables
Project manage launches to ensure all systems are “go” and then monitor impact
Collaborate with teams to create compelling sales and marketing collateral as well as messaging and internal/external communications to drive adoption/conversion
Fully own the planning and execution of product marketing projects to support key Okteto partnerships and integrations
Write and/or coordinate the production of written and video content explaining the joint Okteto + partner value proposition
Partner with the product management team to distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages
Collaborate with sales enablement team to help create training materials, making it easy for sales to understand our product offerings and key positioning
Identify and support industry third-party events
You are comfortable async communication and working with a remote team across multiple timezones.
You have experience working on GTM for developer tooling.
You thrive on building process and programs from start to finish. Having a big impact on a growing company gets you excited.
You think outside the box when it comes to strategy and initiatives.
You are a polished content builder.
You are a strong public communicator and are comfortable being a company representative for things such as customer meetings, hosting webinars and public conversations, creating video content, etc.
Video production and editing skills.
Experience using design tools like Figma.
Experience within Cloud-native ecosystem
