Digital Public Relations - Social Media Specialist

Forbes Advisor is a new initiative for consumers under the Forbes Marketplace umbrella that provides journalist- and expert-written insights, news and reviews on all things personal finance.

Forbes Advisor is looking for a Social Media Specialist to join its growing Digital Public Relations (DPR) team within Forbes Marketplace, North America. You’ll be responsible for running the Forbes Advisor social media accounts with a keen focus on engagement with key members of the media, influencers, and readers.

Responsibilities: 

• Manage Forbes Advisor’s core social media accounts with a keen focus on media engagement. 
• Work with DPR and Editorial teams to determine best content to share across platforms. 
• Produce performance reports; share learnings across teams. 
• Ideate and execute strategies to extend the visibility of our key Editors and experts. 
• Ability to pivot tactics to meet business objectives as needed. 

Requirements: 

• 2-3 years of relevant social media experience.
• We’re looking for fast learners that are full of enthusiasm and creative ideas.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Speak, write and edit succinctly and compellingly.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering clear and precise work is a must.
• Strong organizational skills and willingness to work on a variety of projects.
