We're filling a big need for generative AI built ground-up for the needs of enterprises and embraced by their teams. As generative AI became a board-level initiative almost overnight for most enterprises, our market matured dramatically and we benefit from that tailwind. Our product is highly differentiated, our roadmap is transformative, and our customers are happy and vocal.

Writer is deployed widely at leading companies like UnitedHealthcare, Accenture, Intuit, UiPath, HubSpot, Spotify, Hilton, Uber, and Deloitte. We have an NRR of +135% and we're just getting started.

Our inbound funnel is large and growing fast (+3M visitors/month, thousands of weekly ICP trial starts). In late 2021, we received a $21M Series A led by Insight Partners, with participation from Google's Gradient Ventures, GTMFund, and a world-class group of founders, operators, and angels. We're a clear leader in a space receiving significant investor interest, and will be able to make the investments required to maintain that position.

📐 About this role 

We’re looking for a revenue marketing leader to own all aspects of our demand generation strategy, from inbound and outbound demand creation, to event strategy, to marketing operations, to agency management.

The ideal candidate will bring vision and creativity, get the most out of a skilled, energetic team, and help us execute on a massive market opportunity. You’ll be results-obsessed, drive our pipeline number with an eye toward getting increasing leverage on a healthy investment.

You’ll have a high bar for program elegance and messaging, while also being (and inspiring your team to be) a big experimenter — always driving to find that exact mix of programs that yields the best results. You’ll work closely with sales leaders and other teams to create a rapid feedback loop that results in regular step-ups in performance and efficiency.

This role will be in San Francisco or remote, and will initially report to the CEO, and ultimately to the CMO.

 

🦸🏻‍♀️ Your responsibilities 

  • Develop and lead your team to execute on a whole revenue marketing strategy across all channels: ABM, field/webinar events, email, digital ads (display, SEM, social), SEO, partnerships, etc.

  • Generate a consistent flow of MQLs and work in tandem with your sales counterparts to generate pipeline — the right ICPs and with high leverage — while simultaneously working a set of key target accounts as part of an effective ABM program.

  • Define and report on KPIs and dashboards (in collaboration with our business/revenue operations) to help us measure, optimize, and focus our time and investments.

  • Own the marketing tech stack — website, automation platforms, as well as decisions, and processes.

  • Communicate and collaborate across the organization to ensure the best ROI from demand gen outcomes.

  • Work closely with the rest of marketing and the organization to move in an orchestrated manner, execute beautifully-integrated campaigns, convert our funnel as efficiently as possible.

  • Demonstrated leadership in digital marketing and/or demand generation, ideally in a high-growth B2B SaaS startup

  • An amazing attitude, kindness, and sense of humor — ability to build team culture and relationships across the company

  • Cool as a cucumber, despite the chaos of perhaps the most dynamic technology market we’ve ever seen

  • Proven experience scaling demand generation programs (e.g., outbound marketing, events, lead nurturing, ABM, etc.)

  • Ability to build both beautiful and innovative programs that engage prospects and optimize marketing dollars

  • Experience marketing to SaaS business folks, especially marketing, product management, and UX personas

  • Experience managing agencies and vendors, and negotiating contracts.
