Social Media & Content Summer Intern - Remote (Pacific time zone)

Our machine learning automatically personalizes the buyer journey to drive more web conversions. We're a fully remote team with a majority Bay Area presence. This role can be permanently remote virtually anywhere in the U.S. We welcome candidates from anywhere in the US or Canada. Our core working hours are centered around the Pacific time zone.

• Our team has experience building massive-scale personalized recommendation systems and machine learning infrastructure at Yahoo, Google, and Quora

• Support Sr. Social Media & Content Manager in building and maintaining comprehensive social media and blog calendar
• Create social media copy that speaks to the company’s target audience
• Respond to DMs and conduct proactive outreach to industry influencers to build relationships
• Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
• Build, monitor, and engage with our growing Slack community of conversion-focused marketers
• Write posts for the Intellimize blog to support the company’s SEO goals
• Assist all members of the Marketing team on ad hoc projects including but not limited to data entry, event planning, and web page optimization

• You love to write and copyedit
• You always keep your finger on the pulse of what’s cool on social media including memes, pop culture, and trends
• You have a strong understanding of LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook, especially how to leverage these sites for organic marketing campaigns
• You enjoy wearing multiple hats and absolutely thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• You are currently enrolled in and on track to graduate from a college or university with a degree in marketing or a related field
• Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) experience preferred but not required

• Work on a team that’s willing to take strategic risks with marketing, test, and iterate to get it right, and have fun while doing it
• Market to other marketers. Be your own audience and leverage other marketing team members to bounce new ideas off of
• You’ll get to wear many different hats; as a result, you’ll learn fast and grow your skills tremendously in a short time
• Gain exposure to start-up functions outside of marketing including product management, sales, and customer success
• Our remote-first culture means you can contribute to and learn from our team from the comfort of your own home 

For this role, the estimated hourly pay range is $20-$25 per hour. The actual rate will vary based on several factors, including market, geography, and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed ranges above are a guideline, and the base pay range for this role may be modified.

As a temporary role, this position is not benefits eligible.
