Overview

As Open Lending’s Marketing Research & Insights Manager, you’ll report to the VP of Marketing and will be responsible for the execution of marketplace and customer insight projects through research, data-driven analytics, and summary reporting. We’re looking for a confident operator and strategist who will develop and implement, actionable insights that can be utilized by to position Open Lending as the industry’s subject matter expert on the Near Prime consumer’s interaction with the automotive marketplace. In this role, you’ll produce strong data-driven insights that identify opportunities, outline clear implications, and justify strategic recommendations. You will also need to drive the synthesis of analysis and research for use in market-facing and client-facing communications. Analysis, strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, relationship management, and a steadfast focus on customers are daily aspects of the role.



Responsibilities

  • Consult with business stakeholders across the Open Lending organization (Marketing, Sales, Product, ITOps) to understand key priorities for market, competitive, and customer insights.
  • Designs, executes, and analyzes appropriate research and analysis to address strategic needs.
  • Recommends ideal project design to address specific information needs involving multiple phases or methodologies.
  • Develop compelling reports and executive briefs from the data analysis results; consults with business stakeholders to share findings and implications.
  • Supports execution of summary analysis and reporting of insights on key topics of priority for Open Lending
  • Display a deep understanding of market dynamics and customers across multiple settings, monitoring and translating the regulatory and reimbursement landscape, and ongoing business analysis that identify actionable insights.
  • Ensure content marketing pieces showcased at Open Lending events are in line with learned insights.

Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Research, Statistics, Analytics or a relevant field
  • 7+ years of proven experience successfully managing and producing customer or consumer insights actionable by market-facing teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to influence teams and individuals; Ability to lead multi-stakeholder groups and effectively utilize resources and relationships to drive results.
  • Data-driven individual contributor with a desire to drive and test iteration and strategy.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance conflicting demands while leading multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Comfort managing ambiguity and experience quickly building processes from the ground up.
