By attending industry conferences and hosting hands-on-keyboard workshops and intimate dinners, we’ve validated the win-win in engaging, high-impact events for both our business and our customers. We’re now looking for a Director, Events Marketing that is ready to take on this opportunity!
In this role, you will be responsible for the vision, planning, and execution of Writer’s events strategy, both in-person and virtual. You will bring Writer’s brand and values to life in experiences for our prospects and customers that achieve company objectives while providing the highest impact-per-minute possible for attendees.
To be successful, you will combine your expertise in end-to-end event management with a deep understanding of our target audience to create the right mix of owned and sponsored events to achieve our goals. You should possess excellent project management and communication skills to consistently create and execute pre-, during, and post-event plans. This is a highly creative and collaborative role, and you need a strong track record of producing innovative experiences while working closely with stakeholders, partners, customers, and industry experts.
You will report to the VP of Marketing.
