Henderson Scott's Software Vendor Practice have been engaged by a innovative disruptive NoSQL Database Vendor to help find them a Product Marketeer for the North American markets. Our client has raised over $100M in VC Funding and is at the forefront of this market.

Due to growth they are now seeking a Marketing Professional to help scale and grow there products presence across the community.

This role is remote and can be based anywhere in the USA.

The role offers a strong base salary between $185,000 - $235,000 plus a bonus and meaningful equity that will be worth a life changing amount of money in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Own multiple elements of product marketing - messaging/positioning, content, campaign development, sales enablement, and competitive resources
  • Develop a sound understanding of our target market, use cases, and buyer personas; our core technology, product offerings, and value proposition; and how to win against key competitors
  • Collaborate with fellow members of the growth team and cross-functionally to ensure marketing programs, product launches, events, and supporting materials are well planned and executed with measured results
  • Create marketing materials (e.g., solution briefs, presentations, web content, outbound email, whitepapers, and case studies/testimonials) to serve the top, middle, and bottom of the funnel.
  • Equip our global sales force with training, tools (presentations, competitive profiles/battle cards, prospecting/campaign kits), and timely communications to guide where and how to win.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT (software or hardware) product marketing experience
  • 3+ years database product marketing experience; NoSQL experience a plus
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, or business with IT marketing experience; MBA a plus
  • Proven ability to translate technical features into business benefits
  • Demonstrated experience crafting clear, compelling, and differentiating marketing content and sales materials
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation to internal and external audiences
  • Well organized; able to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative, comfortable working with global, cross-functional teams using Zoom, Slack, gmail
  • Basic Salesforce skills and experience with Google Apps a plus
