We are looking for a Head of Marketing to join our fully remote Revenue team at Waterplan.


We are a dedicated and talented team with ambitious growth goals for the next few years. You will work hand in hand with Nicolás Wertheimer, Co-Founder and CRO at Waterplan.

About your core focus

We are looking for a Head of Marketing motivated to take Waterplan to the next level. You will be one of the founding members of the marketing team and the main person responsible for defining Waterplan’s marketing strategy by defining our messaging, positioning, and audience segmentation. The Head of Marketing will also be responsible for launching plans and go-to-market strategy. To achieve your goals, you will work side by side with the sales and product team and report directly to our co-founder and CRO, Nicolás Wertheimer. You will need a hands-on attitude and wear many hats to drive and executive Waterplan’s Product Marketing efforts, Demand Generation strategies, and Corporate Communications.


You will:

  • Create Waterplan’s product marketing strategy. Brand building and lead generation will be your two top priorities. 

  • Work side by side with the sales team to develop a comprehensive sales enablement strategy.

  • Become a subject-matter expert on our product and create and execute compelling content and campaigns to raise brand awareness and generate more pipeline.

  • Understand Waterplan´s target audience, using strategic positioning and developing messaging to boost revenue and demand for our software.

  • Diagnose our customer experience to create the best journey for our customers and evangelize our key buyers.

  • Identify and reach out to water champions. Research consumers need to create engaging content and transform insights to boost demand generation.

  • Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends. 

  • Corporate communication category creation. We believe in our mission and will work hard to ensure every company has a water plan.

  • Identify and share market feedback with the Waterplan team. Inform Waterplan product strategy by sharing insights from our events, webinars, and other demand-generation initiatives.

  • Lead, direct and deliver all Global Marketing programs and activities to meet business objectives.

  • Articulate and drive execution of full-funnel marketing that improves awareness, engagement, and conversion of Waterplan customers through the creation of compelling, differentiated value propositions.

  • Evaluate the success of marketing campaigns, and drive learnings to improve future operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Establish Marketing priorities, allocate resources and workload, manage team and guide their professional development.

  • Monitor, analyze, and evaluate market trends, consumer behaviors, and market activity to identify opportunities; adjust marketing strategy and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.

  • Lead the development and management of the marketing budget and resources for all markets.

  • Drive the cross-functional development and execution of the marketing plan by partnering across the business to source input and align priorities.

  • Build and scale a diverse, highly-qualified global marketing team.

  • Develop the Waterplan brand and ensure that all activities across the business are fully compliant to protect the organization’s reputation.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Marketing experience at early-stage SaaS companies, with a focus on enterprise sales. You feel comfortable building things from scratch in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-starter; you spot opportunities to make things better and more efficient. You think out of the box, and you got strong prioritization skills.

  • You'll need to be very hands-on to start but will need to identify the best talent and build out a world-class marketing team. You can effectively partner with sales, operations, and designers.

  • Excited about the early days of a startup, learning from customers, informing product strategy, refining processes, and thinking of innovative ways to tell the Waterplan story. 

  • Track record of hitting aggressive pipeline targets and generating revenue 

  • Analytical thinker. You like working with data, can easily create CRM reports, enjoy measuring campaigns, and love optimizing.

  • Passionate about the environment and water. 

  • Previous experience in the Climate Tech space is a plus.
