MotionHall Scientific Business Analyst

MotionHall is looking to hire recent graduates to join our full-time team as an important career step into a sector of private industry which is rapidly modernizing.

While recent graduates of all backgrounds will be considered, the most helpful educational history will involve one or more of:

• Entrepreneurship Innovation Electives;
• Life Sciences with preferred degrees in neuroscience, biochemistry or other areas of advanced life sciences study;
• Business or Economics;
• Liberal Arts with preferred focuses in philosophy, creative writing or library sciences.

Extracurricular involvement in entrepreneurship innovation communities, progress studies, or any of the above areas of study outside of your coursework are all viewed favorably.

Please note that there is more than one position available for this role and we expect to develop recent graduates from this starting place with us into new roles and responsibilities depending on their interests, aptitudes, specific skills and strengths.

Responsibilities and Specific Tasks:

As a Scientific Business Analyst at MotionHall, you will be responsible for reviewing the strategic priorities of biotech and pharma companies, and affiliates, worldwide with regards to the financing and development of medical innovation and associated Intellectual Property (IP).
You will consider these priorities in support of MotionHall’s Strategy Consulting Leadership Team, and your role will be as an important team player here who may work on tasks including:

• Completing structured briefing notes for Senior Strategy Consultants;
• Assisting in materials preparation for MotionHall clients;
• Learn and apply MotionHall methodology and best practices throughout;
• Facilitating meetings between biotech and pharma company leadership and the MotionHall Strategy Consulting Leadership Team;
• Assisting in content and technical writing, such as white paper development and/or internal process documentation;
• Assisting in planning digital events, such as MotionHall’s Executive Call Series;
• Working with market leading software tools that support our Strategy Consulting Team operations, including: HubSpot CRM, Salesforce CRM, Slack

This is a well-supported role for which you will receive training for all required tasks.

This role supports our customers and strategy consulting team but does not involve speaking directly with customers.

• Fluency in alternative languages to English.

Requirements

The responsibilities of this role are time sensitive and with low margin for error because they impact our customers. As such, to thrive in this position you will need to be conscientious with high attention to detail and comfortable working on reasonably paced but very real deadlines.

This role requires flawless written but not spoken English.
