At DNSFilter we have a singular mission: to challenge the way the industry thinks about security via DNS—and we need your help! We’ve come a long way over the past few years. In 2021 we had a successful $30 million Series A funding round and in 2022 we became the fastest DNS security tool on the planet and joined forces with privacy-focused VPN Guardian! This year we’re continuing our product-fueled growth by adding new features to assist our customers with their DNS-layer security and broadening our solution to align with the Secure Web Gateway market.

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help us develop, market, and sell our offerings. This will entail both managing strategic go-to-market projects and actively working on day-to-day enablement tactics. In this role, you will live at the intersection of many functional areas, including product, sales, and demand generation. You will be part of the DNSFilter marketing team which is responsible for defining our brand and positioning, evangelizing our corporate message, advocating for customers and partners, and arming sales teams with tools and knowledge. This is your opportunity to create and market mission-critical cybersecurity applications. This is a fully remote, full-time position.

We recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job. If you feel like this job is for you, please apply. We believe diversity of experience and skills, including transferable skills, combined with passion is a key to innovation and excellence; therefore we encourage people from all backgrounds to apply to our positions!

You will:

  • Deeply understand the capabilities and differentiators of our solution portfolio, with a deep focus on DNS-based threat protection and unsafe content filtering.
  • Enable sales teams with associated tools and training
  • Inform DNS Filter’s market view through first-hand experience, primary and secondary research, competitive intelligence, and sales feedback
  • Analyze competitive offerings and market landscape to help determine our product direction and product packaging and pricing strategies
  • Work in close tandem with product management to develop our long-term Cybersecurity roadmap
  • Collaborate with product management and demand generation to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas
  • Create a steady stream of high-quality product content in support of demand generation, earned media, and sales enablement efforts
  • Participate in the development of marketing plans with the broader marketing team
  • Assess the effectiveness of our collateral and the marketing programs that support your products on an ongoing basis, and suggest changes
  • Understand and support sales; train them on the problems we solve; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it
  • Travel: ~10-20% of the time for team meetups, partner and customer visits, and industry events

The Result of your work:

  • A deep and compelling value-based position, message, and set of content about our product portfolio that meets the needs of all customer segments (e.g. consumer, SMB, Enterprise, MSP, Distributor, Embedded).
  • A sales enablement strategy and delivery of programs and content that will be deployed to direct sellers, channel partners, and embedded OEM partners.

You have:

  • 6+ years of related product management or product marketing experience within the cybersecurity software industry
  • Experience with product-led-growth SaaS business models
  • Deep domain knowledge, with specific experience in one or more of the major commercial Cybersecurity systems
  • High comfort level speaking directly with customers, asking probing questions, and documenting findings, as well as presenting on camera and in-person
  • Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and thrives in a fast-paced environment where initiative is rewarded
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, customers, and third parties
  • Can work in a mostly EST environment
  • Experience working remotely

Bonus points for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field

We Offer:

  • A 100% work-from-home position with a company that values and fosters personal and professional growth
  • Passionate and intelligent colleagues who work hard and have a good time doing it
  • Rotating 4-Day workweek
  • Paid company-wide week off at the end of each year
  • Flexible Vacation policy
  • Awesome company swag
  • Home office buildout allowance
  • Full medical, dental, and vision benefits for US Based Employees
  • Full short-term disability and life benefits; available long-term disability
  • In-person Annual Gatherings. Last time we all spent a week on a beach in Cabo
