The Data Sales Account Executive is responsible for managing the client relationship, daily account activity and business development. This role oversees and maintains a consultative relationship with the client, acting as the primary contact and partner for all Acxiom products and services. Responsible for maintaining excellent client communication at all levels of the organization. Works closely with the client to regularly review account performance, identifying and communicating opportunities for additional Acxiom support. In addition, they are responsible for developing the business by identifying and selling additional services within the Acxiom product portfolio.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for client satisfaction, serving as the main point of contact for all assigned account activity
  • Ensuring the client is informed related to daily account activities, including delivery format and/or schedule, existing product updates and new product information
  • Responsible for the development and growth of existing client revenue and generating new business through value-based upselling and strategic partnering
  • Achieves established annual revenue and growth targets
  • Responsible for account plan development and regular maintenance / updates of the plan
  • Act as the key interface between the client and all relevant Acxiom product teams, maintaining professional and productive relationships with cross-functional teams internally
  • Escalation point for status, issues, problems and feedback to client/stakeholders and teams.
  • Negotiate mutually beneficial business terms informing contracts on behalf of company
  • Responsible for managing within Salesforce all records of sales, actual and forecasted revenue, contracts, and or other key account information
  • Lead client-facing and internal troubleshooting efforts
  • Work closely with delivery team managers helping support overall business strategy, developing new business opportunities, creating quarterly business review presentations and other client needs.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.
  • Relationship Management expertise, proficient in balancing company representation with client relationship management
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • Ability to upsell / cross-sell data and services from initiation to close
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Solid negotiation skills and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with clients and management
  • Experience in data and identity, digital and/ or marketing services industry

Preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in an account leadership role in sales, marketing or agency environment
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the customer’s business and align company services to client priorities and link to Acxiom value proposition.
  • Consultative/Persuasive skills.
  • ·Excellent group presentation skills.

Travel

  • Up to 10%.
