Director, Product Marketing

FloatMe is looking for a seasoned Director, Product Marketing to establish and formalize the Product Marketing function within the Marketing group. Reporting to the CMO, you will work cross-functionally with other Marketing team members, Product, Business Intelligence, UX and Member Experience to ensure that all FloatMe’s products are maximizing revenue opportunities and capturing market share.

Requirements

• 8+ years’ of experience in Product Marketing in financial services or fintech, with at least 3+ years’ of managing a product marketing team in any industry
• Experience working in and driving impact across startup environments
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong planning and workflow capabilities, with the ability to provide effective prioritization, accurate project detail, timelines, and dependencies across teams and other work streams
• Comfortable and confident working with data and developing actionable insights
• Must be willing to take ownership of and execute initiatives to move projects forward efficiently and effectively
• Working knowledge of product management and UX a plus

Responsibilities

• Capture, analyze and interpret critical data sets across FloatMe’s product portfolio and identify areas for action across different member touchpoints
• Develop, deploy and manage go-to market strategies in line with business objectives, market conditions and dynamics, audience segmentation, and product positioning, benefits and messaging
• Masterfully translate complex financial product concepts into digestible, easy-to-understand education across a variety of different mediums and channels
• Work closely with Product to ensure effective knowledge-sharing on product changes, and develop planning processes for ensuring the product roadmap and product marketing plans are aligned
• Manage a talented Product Marketer, developing their expertise in the discipline and providing guidance day-to-day
• Ensure that all strategies, plans and initiatives are documented properly, capturing critical data, insights and directions to help all stakeholders contextualize objectives and their role within the work
• Work with Senior Project Manager to ensure all project review and approval processes are followed
