The Marketing Automation Manager will work as a SME across various marketing automation platforms, with a focus on Salesforce, Pardot and/or Marketing Cloud, to drive value for our clients across their customer experience. This role collaborates closely with both internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to IT, Marketing, UX, Analytics, Development, Design resources, and agencies. The successful candidate will have the knowledge and tools needed to synthesize complex campaign journeys into seamless and executable system triggers and processes.

DUTIES

  • Manage the technology utilized within the MarTech stack
  • Train and Support internal team members to increase adoption and utilization of automation tools
  • Works directly with the Brand Marketing and Digital Experience teams to establish and execute a marketing automation strategy
  • Executes email campaigns in Salesforce/Pardot/Marketing Cloud systems including building multi-touch campaigns, logic streams, automation rules, creation of segments, forms and landing pages, email content creation, and deployment
  • Interprets and implements digital best practices for email, personalization, segmentation, and data-capture from forms and landing pages
  • Collaborate with data analysts to assess, track and report on key metrics, improving performance throughout the funnel
  • Partners cross-functionally to design and implement campaign tests, and apply results
  • Collaborates with IT and other partners on tool development, such as data integration and API delivery
  • Partners cross-functionally to manage data integrity, maximizing ability to market to contacts
  • Provides internal consultation on Salesforce/Pardot/Marketing Cloud capabilities and marketing automation strategies
  • Manages vendor relationships, estimate requests, PO creation/invoice approval
  • Develops project timelines, schedules kick-offs, and manages projects day-to-day through completion
  • Manages budgets tracking and reporting
  • Create and present solution documentation, keeping both internal and external stakeholders informed and engaged
  • Provide leadership around and adhere to Email and SMS channel best practices
  • Proactively present & deploy optimization activities
  • Build, test and deploy Campaign and Journeys
  • Develop, Disseminate and Adhere to QA process
  • Execute routine maintenance and performance monitoring tasks and make updates where necessary
  • Partner with Analytics for access to data and systems for analysis and reporting

Skills And Knowledge

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experienced in lead funnel development, oversight and overall management
  • Strong lead scoring development and optimization skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Deadline and results-driven
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fast learner with creative problem-solving skills

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • BS/BA required in Marketing or a related field
  • 3+ years working in a marketing automation function, email marketing experience required, preferably in high-volume environment
  • 2-3 years experience with an enterprise CRM/Marketing Automation platform required, Salesforce/Pardot/Marketing Cloud specifically is a plus
  • Experience measuring impact and value of campaigns and touches, using best-practice analytics and testing protocols
  • Experience with lead gen and multi-touch nurture streams preferred
  • Experience with automated drip campaigns
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud task, assignment, and notification automations
  • Experience in enterprise web analytics preferred
