This is a great opportunity for a passionate communication professional to drive and execute our communications and PR worldwide.

The Communications & PR Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving the positive public image of Platform.sh.

In this key role, you will manage external communications and PR, develop and support our brand awareness strategy.

This role reports directly to our Corporate Marketing and Communications Director – based in France. The position can be located anywhere in Europe or the US.

What you can expect

  • Creating Platform.sh Communications and PR plan and oversee our day-to-day activities.
  • Produce, from concept to completion, a broad array of communication and PR materials for Platform.sh – And ensure that all of these present a clear, unified, and positive image for our brand.
  • Work with Content and Social media managers to create an integrated calendar.
  • Manage external PR agencies (USA, France, UK, and Germany).
  • Work with sponsors and partners to promote brand awareness.
  • Identify speaking opportunities for Platform. sh stakeholders (media, conference, online events,…).
  • Promote special events and report on corporate milestones and activities such as company projects and news, events (internal and external), awards, new features, new hires, etc.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data related to Platform.sh communication and PR – Analyze results and recommend changes based on performance.

What you bring

  • Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Strong track record in working in managing PR agencies, cross-functional teams, project management, and driving multifaceted deliverables.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build trust with internal stakeholders and drive alignment with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with adaptability, agility, and positivity.
  • Comfortable with an iterative, test and learn approach.
  • Fluency in English.

  • B2B experience
  • PR Agency experience is a plus

How we hire

You can expect 3 – 4 interviews on Google Meet. You will have the opportunity to meet with a variety of Platformers throughout the interview process. You’ll also have the opportunity to schedule virtual coffee chats with potential future peers to see if you can envision working together. Use interview and coffee time to make sure the company aligns with what you’re looking for in your future working environment.

Expect a higher number of interviews for director-level roles and above. All roles require background checks.
