This can be a remote role (working from home), so we are totally happy for you to be based anywhere in the USA. We do have an office in San Francisco.

The Role

The Marketing Operations Associate will own strategy, design, execution and operations of the business's lead management processes, marketing databases, and marketing automation solutions. This role will track performance in order to plan, report, and conduct analysis.

The ideal candidate for this role is agile and has a passion for data, metrics, and reporting. They are a self-starter and excel in operations that facilitate scalability, predictability, and efficiency of marketing operations.

Familiarity with Marketo and Salesforce is required. An understanding of funnel definitions, lead scoring and campaign tracking is also essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring the operational performance and improvement of the end-to-end lead flow, including creation, scoring, and routing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand marketing and sales objectives and support the appropriate systems, processes, and tools
  • Track ROI of marketing activities and troubleshoot issues that may arise
  • Consistently and proactively develop, document, measure, and optimize business processes, and automate where appropriate as well being a key partner with marketing leaders to plan activities
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools that increase the efficiency or provide value and enable the broader Marketing team as well as owning existing tools such as Marketo, Segment, Splash and Ambassador
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, analyze engagement metrics and A/B testing and familiarity with operating those campaigns in Marketo
  • Actively monitor, analyze and report on the health of marketing contribution to pipeline, program ROI, customer acquisition and penetration, contact acquisition, and campaign activity and results
  • Improve the rigor of our marketing infrastructure and manage critical business processes such as governance, attribution, enrichment, and record assignment
  • This role will initially have no direct reports but you will work closely with your peers in the revenue operations team as well as a trusted partner to the marketing organization

Skills & Experience Required

  • 3+ years of Marketing Operations experience and experience with Marketo essential
  • You have been responsible for building/maintaining lead lifecycle from scoring, to enrichment to routing as well as funnel tracking and metrics
  • Experience partnering with marketing teams to deploy campaigns including execution and tracking of ROI
  • Advanced proficiency with Marketo and intermediate to advanced proficiency with Salesforce
  • Experience in Tableau a plus
  • Experience in marketing technology stack ownership and have recommended new tools for better scalability, reporting, and value creation
  • You have strong written and oral communication skills and are highly collaborative and enjoy strategic partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Experience creating a Multi-Touch Explicit (not Implicit) Marketing Automation system attribution model
  • Highly resourceful, self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership in areas of responsibility and ability to closely partner with a diverse range of stakeholders
