About UTR Sports

UTR Sports is a rapidly growing sports technology company on a mission to transform the world of sports through our rating systems. Our platform provides a universal standard for tennis and pickleball skill measurement, fostering fair competition and connecting players globally. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Director to drive club and event revenue and marketing initiatives, contributing to the continued growth and success of UTR Sports.

Position Overview

As the lead for B2B2C marketing, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic marketing campaigns to promote UTR Sports within the tennis and pickleball communities. This role will focus on driving club/organizer and event revenue, creating compelling marketing assets, and fostering partnerships with tennis clubs and event organizers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies generating leads for UTR Sports services within tennis and pickleball clubs and organizations
  • Working with performance marketing team, create targeted campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and participation in UTR-related events and programs.
  • Develop compelling marketing collateral and other assets to effectively communicate the benefits of specific programming for UTR Sports to clubs and event organizers.
  • Work closely with the global sales team to achieve club and event sales initiatives.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote UTR related events, tournaments, and leagues. Includes driving awareness for team league organizers and captains as well as players
  • Coordinate promotional efforts with event organizers and leverage social media and other channels to maximize reach.

Requirements

  • BS/BA 4 year college degree (business, marketing or economics preferred)
  • 8-10 years experience in product marketing or product management. Ideally for a consumer technology company but B2B SaaS also acceptable.
  • Strong creative writing skills with the ability to write and edit copy.
  • Strong verbal and presentation/visual communication skills. Strategic thinker.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and self-starter with a team-first mentality.
  • Ultra-organized and strong attention to detail with experience in project management.
  • Passionate for tennis and or pickleball is preferred but not required
  • Preference for Central and East Coast Time Zones; Canada OK

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $85,000 to 125,000. The total comp for this role will take into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location differential associated with where the position will be filled.
